This set puts a complete Apeks regulator system together in one purchase: the Apeks XTX40 Dive Regulator w/ DS4 as your primary first and second stage, the Apeks XTX50 Octopus Dive Regulator as your backup air source, and the Apeks 2-Gauge Console 5K PSI/230ft Black/Dark Grey to keep an eye on tank pressure and depth. All three pieces come from the same Apeks platform, so hose routing, mouthpiece feel, and cold-water performance line up across your primary and backup regulators.

The XTX40's DS4 first stage uses an over-balanced diaphragm design with an environmental dry system, two HP ports and four MP ports angled for clean hose routing, and a Diver Changeable Exhaust system that lets you swap between a small and large exhaust tee. Its second stage is pneumatically balanced with a 2-stage progressive purge and a soft-touch venturi lever, and it's available in DIN and Yoke. The XTX50 Octopus carries the same pneumatically balanced second stage design, plus a breathing effort control knob so you can desensitize it when it's stowed, a silicone exhaust valve, and braided flexi-hoses rated for cold water. Both second stages use the Comfo-bite mouthpiece, and both convert from right-handed to left-handed hose routing through an Apeks Authorized Service Technician. The XTX50 is also compatible with EAN40 out of the box, and its molded parts carry an additive aimed at MRSA, E-Coli, bacteria, fungi, viruses, mold, yeast, and algae.

The 2-Gauge Console rounds out the set with a nickel-plated brass case and an anti-splinter polycarbonate dial window backed by an over-pressure capsule, so the gauge face is protected from impact. The SPG reads 0-360 Bar/0-5000 Psi, the depth gauge reads down to 70m with a resettable max depth indicator, and both dials have a long-lasting phosphorescent effect for low-visibility conditions. Two attachment loops give you flexibility in how you route it on your gear, and its materials are O2 compatible.
