Apeks Complete Regulator Set – XL4 OCEA Regulator + XTX50 Octopus + 2-Gauge Console

This set pairs the Apeks XL4 OCEA regulator with a matching XTX50 Octopus and a 2-gauge console, giving you a complete first stage, second stage, backup, and instrumentation setup from Apeks. The OCEA's first stage is built on the proven DS4 platform in a one-piece machined body, with an over-balanced diaphragm design that keeps medium-pressure gas flowing at a faster rate than ambient as you descend. It's made from recycled materials and bio-plastics, removing five times its own weight in plastic from the environment during production. Two high-pressure ports and four medium-pressure ports give you room to route a full second stage, octopus, and gauge hoses. At the mouth, the second stage is compact and lightweight to reduce jaw fatigue, with a pneumatically balanced lever-operated poppet valve, a self-flushing purge button, an ergonomic venturi lever, and a braided nylon hose for better cold-water performance.

The XTX50 Octopus serves as your backup second stage, sharing the same braided flexi-hose and Comfo-bite mouthpiece as the OCEA for a consistent feel between the two. It's pneumatically balanced for smooth breathing, has a breathing effort control knob so you can desensitize it while it's stowed, and a large 2-stage progressive purge button for quick clearing. Molded parts are treated with an additive that resists MRSA, E-coli, bacteria, fungi, viruses, mold, yeast, and algae, and the unit is compatible with EAN40 out of the box. An Apeks Authorised Service Technician can convert it from right-hand to left-hand hose routing if your configuration calls for it.

Rounding out the set, the 2-gauge console reads pressure from 0 to 360 Bar (0-5000 Psi) and depth to 70 meters, with a resettable max depth indicator and a nickel-plated brass case protected by an anti-splinter polycarbonate dial window and over-pressure capsule. Two attachment loops let you position it where it's easiest to check, and the dials carry a long-lasting phosphorescent coating for low-visibility reading. You can choose the set in Black Grey or Mint, and pick DIN or Yoke connection to match your cylinder valve.
