Product Information
This bundle brings together everything you need for a complete regulator setup: the Apeks MTX-RC first and second stage, the XTX50 octopus, and a 2-gauge console. Pick your connection type, DIN or Yoke, when you check out, and the three pieces are built to work together as your primary regulator, your backup air source, and your pressure and depth readouts.
The MTX-RC first stage uses an over-balanced diaphragm design with a satin-plated brass body and heat-exchanging ribs, and its over-moulded endcap and environmental diaphragm help keep it from freezing up in cold water. The second stage has user controls so you can adjust breathing performance to your liking, and the first stage is tested for octopus use to 60 metres. The XTX50 serves as your octopus, with a pneumatically-balanced second stage, a silicone exhaust valve, and braided flexi-hoses rated for cold water. It has a large 2-stage progressive purge button, a breathing effort control knob for when it's not in use, and it's compatible with EAN40 right out of the box.
Rounding out the set is the 2-gauge console, with a nickel-plated brass case, an anti-splinter polycarbonate dial window, an over-pressure capsule for protection, and dials with a phosphorescent effect for reading in low light. The depth gauge reads down to 70 metres and includes a resettable max depth indicator. The MTX-RC also comes with a tactical-style messenger bag for keeping the regulator set together between dives.
