Frequently Asked Questions
What sizes does the Scubapro K2 Extreme Steamer come in?
Seven sizes are published: XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL, matching SKUs 78.171.100 through 78.171.700. For reference, Medium is listed as 3.836 lbs / 62.99 in on SCUBAPRO's US page and 1.52 kg / 148 cm on the EU page. If you are between sizes or layering under a specific drysuit, call DiveCatalog.com at 888-701-4017 and we can talk it through with you.
Can a P-valve be used with this undersuit?
Yes. The leg holes on the K2 Extreme one-piece undersuit are adaptable for P-valve installation, so divers running a P-valve in their drysuit can fit the undersuit accordingly. The suit also uses a front double slider zipper, which makes getting in and out of the garment easier before and after a dive.
What makes the shoulders, chest and knees different from the rest of the suit?
Those three areas use a heavier 919 g/m² dual fleece panel, compared with 629 g/m² (+/-10%) through the rest of the body. SCUBAPRO calls this anti-squeeze or compression protection padding, and it targets the points where drysuit and harness pressure compresses insulation most, helping preserve warmth and comfort on gear-intensive dives.
Does the K2 Extreme Steamer include a storage bag?
No. SCUBAPRO lists the storage bag as not included, so the package contains the one-piece steamer-style undersuit itself. The undersuit does have two zippered storage pockets, one on each hip, plus elastic wrist loops and heel straps that keep the fleece from riding up while you pull on a drysuit.
