The SeaLife SportDiver 2300 Explorer is a limited edition gift set that pairs the SportDiver underwater smartphone housing with a Sea Dragon 2300F photo-video light mounted on a Flex-Connect grip and single tray. A padded SeaLife Compact Set Case holds the housing and light assembled, so the system comes out of the case ready to dive.
The SportDiver housing is depth rated to 130 ft (40 m), and each housing is individually depth tested. SeaLife lists it for iPhone 11 through iPhone 17 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, and many other Android phones that fit its 6.49 x 3.15 x 0.38 in (165 x 80 x 9.7 mm) interior; check SeaLife's SportDiver compatibility checker before buying for a specific phone. The housing pairs with the free SportDiver app over Bluetooth Low Energy 5, so no cables or buttons touch the phone, and two AAA batteries run it for over 50 hours. A large shutter lever and rear control buttons work with dive gloves on.
The SportDiver app has no in-app purchases or ads and uses the phone's own camera, with access to lens selection, zoom, exposure, manual focus, white balance and RAW+JPEG capture where the phone supports them. Dual leak alarms pair an internal moisture sensor with a vacuum pressure alarm and warn with on-screen, audio and LED signals. A removable red color-correction filter is included, and three standard 1/4-20 tripod threads attach the housing to the tray.
The Sea Dragon 2300F light produces 2300 lumens from a COB LED array at 5000K with a color rendering index (CRI) of 80. Its 120-degree beam (about 90 degrees underwater) lights the frame evenly for photos and video. One button turns the light on and steps through 100%, 50% and 25% output, and regulated circuitry keeps the output constant as the battery drains. The removable 25 Wh lithium-ion battery runs for 80 minutes at full power, 160 minutes at half power and 320 minutes at quarter power. The light is depth tested to 330 ft (100 m) and expands with SeaLife Flex-Connect trays, grips, arms and adapters; an action camera adapter is included.
