This package builds a full regulator setup around the Mares 28XR with HR second stage, a balanced diaphragm first stage with a double piston design that keeps airflow steady at depth. Auto Sealing Technology (AST) keeps sand, debris, and contaminants out of the mechanism, and the rotating swivel turret with 4 low-pressure ports plus a 5th in-line LP port gives you room to route hoses for twinsets, stage bottles, or sidemount rigs. The HR second stage is built from ultralight technopolymer with a large side adjustment knob, so you can dial in breathing effort even with thick gloves on.

Backing it up is the Mares Dual Octo, an ultralight technopolymer octopus that weighs only 183 g. It uses the same Pneumatic-Assisted Design and Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) airflow approach as the primary second stage, delivered through a Superflex hose, so your backup breathes as easily as your primary in warm to moderate water.

Rounding out the package is the Puck Lite Mission 2 console, pairing the Puck Lite dive computer with a chrome-plated brass pressure gauge in one two-element unit. The computer runs the Buhlmann ZH-L16C algorithm with adjustable gradient factors, supports Nitrox from 21% to 50%, and logs up to 100 dives that sync over Bluetooth to the Mares and MySSI apps.
