Product Information

The DiveCatalog Velcro Tear Away Octopus Holder secures an alternate air source to a BCD while allowing it to be pulled free in one motion. The hook-and-loop closure holds the octopus second stage against the harness during normal diving, then releases under a firm pull so the regulator can be deployed quickly in an out-of-air situation.

Holding the octopus in a fixed, known position keeps it out of the silt and off the reef, prevents it from dragging behind the diver, and means both the diver and a buddy can find it without searching. The holder attaches to standard BCD webbing and D-rings and suits recreational, technical, and rescue configurations.
