Product Information

The Genesis Two Gauge Analog Mini Console (part #GAC-02) is a compact analog instrument console for scuba diving that combines a dual scale depth gauge reading to 200 FT / 60 M with a dual scale pressure gauge reading to 5000 PSI / 350 BAR. Both gauges use 1.75" dials, and the console ships complete with a boot and a hose.

Who it is for

This console suits recreational divers who want the two numbers that matter most, remaining gas and current depth, on one small, easy to stow instrument. Because the gauges are purely mechanical, with no batteries and no electronics, it is also a practical choice as a backup to a dive computer, for travel setups where charging is inconvenient, and for divers building or refreshing a regulator setup with simple, glance-readable analog instruments.

Key details

  • Large, clear dials for reading at a glance, with luminescent faces that stay visible in darker conditions

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Genesis Two Gauge Console include a compass?

No. The Genesis Two Gauge Console, part #GAC-02, holds a depth gauge and a pressure gauge only. Genesis Scuba offers a Three Gauge Console (GAC-03) and a Pressure Gauge with Compass Module (GAC-04) for divers who want a compass in the console. If you are not sure which configuration fits your setup, contact us and we will walk through it with you.

Does this console need batteries?

No. Both instruments are mechanical analog gauges with no batteries and no electronics, so there is nothing to charge and no battery to replace before a trip. The gauge faces are luminescent, which keeps them readable in darker conditions. This makes the console a dependable backup to a battery powered dive computer.

What comes with the Genesis Two Gauge Console?

It ships with the gauges, a boot and a hose. The boot protects the 1.75" gauges from bumps and impacts, and the hose connects the console to the high pressure port on your regulator first stage. Nothing else is published as included by Genesis Scuba for part #GAC-02.

Will the pressure gauge work with high pressure cylinders?

The pressure gauge reads up to 5000 PSI / 350 BAR, so it covers standard aluminum and steel cylinder fills as well as higher pressure steel tanks filled within that range. The dial is dual scale, showing both PSI and BAR, and the depth gauge alongside it reads to 200 FT / 60 M in both feet and meters.
