The SeaLife SportDiver Screen Shield is a waterproof screen protector for compact cameras and housings with a diagonal screen size of 6.8?/ 173mm or smaller. The protective nano coating repels water, keeps the screen free of fingerprints and protects against scratches. This is especially important for the SeaLife SportDiver and many other housings, since they use a clear polycarbonate material that scratches from handling and abrasion.
The SportDiver Screen Shield is cut exactly to the size of the SportDiver housing back, so extra trimming is not necessary. The Screen Shield is incredibly tough and durable and can also be used as a screen protector directly on your phone’s screen or other cameras or housings; this may require some cutting to the exact screen size of the device. Each package includes two screen protectors, dust removal tape, a cleaning cloth and easy to follow instructions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this Screen Shield fit the SportDiver ULTRA?
It can be used on the SportDiver ULTRA, but it will be slightly undersized since it is cut specifically for the SL400 and SL408 housing screens. SeaLife makes a dedicated SL4056 Screen Shield sized for the SportDiver ULTRA, which is the better fit if you own that housing.
How many screen protectors come in one package?
Each package of the SeaLife Screen Shield (SL4005) includes two screen protectors, along with dust removal tape, a cleaning cloth and instructions, so you have a spare if the first one gets damaged or needs replacing.
Can I use this screen protector on a device other than the SportDiver?
Yes. The film fits any screen 6.8 inches/173mm or smaller, so it can be trimmed to size for use on other cameras, housings or even a phone screen, though it is pre-cut to match the SportDiver and SportDiver S housings without trimming.
Does the Screen Shield affect the clarity of the SportDiver's display?
No. It is made from high transparency PET film designed to maintain clear LCD visibility while its fluorine coating repels water, dirt and fingerprint smudges, so the display stays easy to read underwater and on the surface.
