Description
The Bare 5mm Ultrawarmth Wet Hood adds essential insulation for scuba and diving in cooler waters. It uses a high-loft OMNIRED Infrared Thermal Technology inside the fabric, clinically shown to conserve body heat and accelerate thermal recovery. The 5mm thickness provides reliable warmth in underwater conditions while remaining comfortable under gear setups.
Designed for practical performance, the hood pairs with drysuit or wetsuit equipment, featuring a hood neck seal that mates with drysuit seals or wetsuit collars for minimal water intrusion. The GEN2 hood vent allows trapped air to escape without letting water enter, helping maintain warmth during dives. A mask strap grip pad at the back secures the mask strap in place during underwater exploration.
Durable construction supports repeated dives with a focus on isolation and warmth. The hood is double-glued and blindstitched with SECURELOCK construction to reduce flushing and improve thermal efficiency for longer, more comfortable dives in scuba gear.
