The SeaLife Sea Dragon Duo 10K+ Color Boost Underwater Photo/Video Light Set is a dual light system that mounts two Sea Dragon 5000+ COB LED light heads on a Flex-Connect Ultra Dual Tray for more than 10,000 combined lumens. Each head delivers 5,000 continuous lumens with a 2-minute 6,000-lumen boost, renders color at 90 CRI and is depth tested to 330 feet (100 meters).

This set is built for underwater photographers and videographers who shoot wide scenes, reef life and wrecks and need even, daylight-like lighting on both sides of the camera. The 120 degree beam on land (90 degrees underwater) spreads light with no hot spots, and the Color Boost modes warm the output from 5000K down to 4000K, 3700K or 2700K when you want richer reds and skin tones. A red stealth mode at 220 lumens helps you approach shy subjects, and the SOS and 1-second blinking mode doubles as a signaling tool.

The set includes two 50Wh Li-ion batteries, one for each light head, plus two AC chargers with charging trays and international plug adapters. Each 14.8V, 3400 mAh battery charges in about 2 hours 15 minutes. Batteries are removable and sit in a waterproof battery compartment inside each light head.

How long do the lights run on a full charge?

Run time depends on the mode you select. Each head delivers 3.3 hours at 1,500 lumens, 1.7 hours at 3,000 lumens and 60 minutes at 5,000 lumens with Color Boost. The 6,000-lumen boost is limited to 2 minutes and reduces overall run time. SOS and blinking signal mode runs 40+ hours on a fully charged battery.

Will this light set work with a GoPro or a SeaLife SportDiver housing?

Yes. The included Flex-Connect Ultra Dual Tray uses a standard 1/4-20 mounting screw and has a curved, boomerang shape that clears wider housings such as the SeaLife SportDiver. What does Color Boost actually do?

Color Boost shifts the white light color temperature to warmer tones so reds and skin tones look richer on camera. Without Color Boost the output is 5000K. With it, the set produces 3700K at 5,000 lumens, 4000K at 6,000 lumens and 2700K at 3,000 lumens. The COB LED array renders color at 90 CRI across a 120 degree beam on land, 90 degrees underwater.
