Description

The Dive Rite XT1/XT4 Sidemount Regulator Package pairs the XT4 second stage with the XT1 first stage to create a sidemount regulator set built around ease of breathing. The XT4 delivers an exceptionally low work of breathing in a compact housing, making it suited to demanding technical and cave dives where a sidemount configuration is used. The package is offered in RL or RR orientation so hose routing can be matched to a diver's rigging preference, and it supports yoke or DIN first-stage fittings.

Each package is supplied with a carrying bag for transport and storage between dives. The XT1 first stage provides consistent gas delivery across depths and tank pressures, while the compact XT4 second stage keeps the profile streamlined for sidemount cylinders. Submersible pressure gauge options are available in PSI or BAR to match a diver's preferred units. Made in the USA.

First time ordering with Dive Catalog and very pleased. I was on the fence about the Garmin watch purchase but found the additional info in their write up very helpful. Ordering and delivery were a snap. The Garmin watch purchase is solid. Still learning the watch - and it is learning my habits. Bought it for GPS functionality but find I’m very interested in the data collection and health metrics feedback

Travel Solution

My other BCD's are both jacket-type, which while great for the beginner isn't ideal for photography, so I opted for the Pro 2 to simplify trim with its back inflation design.

Living in the desert SW, for me every dive begins with a trip and the bare bone design of the Pro 2 which flattens down into a nice tight bundle that can be packed in the included backpack-styled storage/travel bag or in my checked baggage.

I opted for the Air2 to reduce drag, but having the Octopus combined with the low-pressure inflator, makes more to think about in the event of equipment failure.

Overall, I think this is going to be a nice upgrade for tropical dive trips.

Definitely worth the price.

The Scubapro Level is easy to use and seems very durable. I would also recommend getting the Air2 safe second. It keeps everything less cluttered.
