Product Information

The OrcaTorch D710 is a compact LED dive light built around a Luminus LED with a narrow 6-degree beam and a maximum output of 3000 lumens. It serves as a primary light for recreational diving and as a backup light for technical and sidemount diving. The beam reaches 17,204 cd with a beam distance of 262 m on land.

A titanium alloy side button selects High (1700 lumens), Mid (800 lumens) and Low (400 lumens). Pressing and holding the button while the light is on engages 3000-lumen Turbo, which returns to the previous level when the button is released. Holding the button for five seconds with the light off locks it against accidental activation during travel, and a double click unlocks it. A battery level indicator and intelligent overheat protection are built in.

The D710 runs on one removable OrcaTorch 21700 5000 mAh battery with a built-in USB-C charging port; the battery and a USB-C cable are included. Runtime is about 1 hour 40 minutes on High, 3 hours 40 minutes on Mid and 7 hours 40 minutes on Low. The light measures 155 mm (6.1 in) long with a 36 mm head, weighs 152 g without the battery, withstands a 1.5 m drop and is depth rated to 150 m (492 ft).

Great cutter, the case could be better

The cutter is great. I appreciate that it’s Titanium instead of steal and it has a line cutter and a serrated edge. It gives me peace of mind to have both methods of cutting.

The case initially looks great. It can either go on the waist belt or shoulder harness. The problem is the loop for the belt is too wide so it moves around a lot. It was annoying. I ended up moving it to my harness on my right shoulder. It doesn’t move there. So not the end of the word and I still give it 5 stars.

I really love the flexibility of the D-mask

I really love the flexibility of the D-mask. The user can replace any component. The cat ate the nose pocket out of my wife’s mask. Rather than scrap the whole thing I bought the replacement skirt and had it installed in minutes. Also put the available Scubapro replacement bifocal lenses in it for her. Overall it’s a little investment up front for the mask but replacement/upgrade parts are pretty reasonable.
