The Suunto M-9 is the classic wrist compass: a liquid-filled, jewel-bearing capsule in a low-profile housing that rides on a velcro strap, so a direction check is as fast as glancing at a watch. Sight through the notches and the side window to take a bearing without breaking stride — on a trail, a paddle board, or a sailboat deck.
