The Neptune Space is available in two sizes, Small/Medium and Medium/Large.The sizing and measuring system were designed in accordance with the official measuring procedure used in the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory Charts at the SBCCOM Mask Fit Facility-Aberdeen Proving Ground (Maryland, USA). Before purchasing a mask, the customer may use the calliper to take two simple face measurements. Using the Full Face Mask Size Recommendation Chart, he or she can evaluate the size category into which the measurements fall. There are three different size categories on the chart: Small/Medium, Both, & Medium/Large. If the measurements fall within the both category, then the diver should technically be able to wear either full face mask (M/L or S/M), and in that case should try on a mask to select the best fit. Please note that the chart boundaries fade. The fading areas represent less common face measurements. It is very likely that a mask will still fit comfortably even if measurements are located in these fading areas.

Product Information
The Ocean Reef Neptune III Basic is the entry model of the Neptune III full face mask range. It combines a single-piece full face mask with the Neptune III vertical, body-balanced second stage, so the diver breathes through nose and mouth with no mouthpiece and no jaw fatigue. The transparent polycarbonate visor is coated on both sides with siloxane resin for scratch and chemical resistance, and the patented air-circulation path keeps it clear during the dive.
A six-strap harness keeps the regulator in place if the diver is unconscious or struck, an internal device closes the nostrils for equalization without touching the mask, and the orinasal pocket keeps the breathing space small so the mask is hard to flood and easy to clear. The Basic ships as the mask with its integrated second stage and no first stage. It has an octopus/SAV port for the SAV III Basic surface air valve and a port for Ocean Reef communication units, both sold separately, so the mask can be built up over time.
Sizing follows the distance from the bridge of the nose to the chin: S/M fits 10 to 11.5 cm (3.9 to 4.5 in) and M/L fits more than 11.5 cm (4.5 in). The mask is CE marked, certified to EN 250:2014 as Category III personal protective equipment, and rated for cold water below 10 C. Ocean Reef covers the mask with a lifetime warranty and the other components for two years.
