Product Information
The Halcyon HP LED Scout upgrade module replaces the original xenon or earlier LED module in a 3 C-cell Halcyon Scout backup light with a 3-watt high-performance LED. The swap brings an older Scout up to current output and efficiency without replacing the Delrin body, stainless steel internals, or Lexan lens cover.
On a fresh set of three C-cell alkaline batteries the module burns for about 4 hours, several times the runtime of the halogen bulb it replaces, and delivers a tightly focused, even white beam measured at about 5875 lux at 1 m, 825 lux at 3 m, and 375 lux at 5 m, which is what makes the Scout usable for team signaling. The solid-state LED withstands shock far better than a filament bulb and is rated for more than ten years of continuous burn. This module fits the 3 C-cell Scout only, not the 2 C-cell Scout Mini.
