The DiveCatalog x Stream2Sea Mask Defog is a 2 fl oz (60 mL) flip-cap bottle of Stream2Sea's professional-strength mask defog, produced for DiveCatalog.com with a co-branded label. The formula is designed for scuba masks, snorkel masks, and swim goggles and is built for long-lasting anti-fog performance in place of baby shampoo or spit. It contains three ingredients: deionized water, aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf extract, and sodium lauroyl methyl isethionate, a gentle plant-derived cleansing agent.
Stream2Sea formulates the defog to be safer for aquatic life. It is Reef Safer, USDA BioBased certified, biodegradable, non-nano, and cruelty-free, and it contains no oxybenzone, octinoxate, parabens, phthalates, or synthetic fragrance. To use, apply a small amount on the inside of the lenses, rub it completely over the lens with a finger, add water and rub again to remove any streaks, then pour the liquid out before the dive. Although the ingredients are gentle, avoid direct contact with eyes and rinse thoroughly with water if irritation occurs.
