Shearwater Tern TX Dive Computer

The Shearwater Tern TX is the air-integrated version of the Tern watch-style dive computer. It pairs with up to four wireless transmitters, putting tank pressure from a Shearwater air integration transmitter such as the Swift directly on the wrist. The 1.3-inch (3.3 cm) full-color AMOLED display offers 360 x 360 resolution and a typical brightness of 350 nits behind a toughened alkali-aluminosilicate glass lens, and the computer is depth rated to 120 m / 394 ft.

The Tern TX runs the Buhlmann ZHL-16C decompression algorithm with gradient factors and covers Air, Nitrox, 3 Gas Nitrox, Gauge, and Freedive modes; an optional unlock code also enables Avelo Mode for diving the Avelo System. A 3-axis tilt-compensated digital compass supports underwater navigation, and switchable vibration alerts provide discreet notifications in place of audible alarms. The internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivers up to 20 hours of dive time at medium brightness and recharges on the included wireless charging station with USB-C cable, while Bluetooth handles dive log downloads and firmware updates. The black ballistic nylon polymer case carries a 316 stainless steel bezel and buttons on 22 mm quick-connect straps, with a 500-hour dive log, three customizable clock faces, and 15 configurable display colors.
