Product Information

Tacx Alpine handles the half of indoor riding that a trainer cannot: the front of the bike. It raises and lowers the front wheel in step with the gradient your training app is sending, simulating climbs to 25% and descents to -10%, and it steers, feeding a steering angle back to the app.

Incline accuracy is quoted at 0.1% and the unit changes gradient at about 3% per second on a bike with a 1000 mm wheelbase, so rolling terrain arrives at something like the rate it would outdoors. Control comes from a paired Tacx NEO 2T or NEO 3M trainer over ANT+ or Bluetooth.

Adapters are included for quick release 9x100 and thru axle 12x100, and the unit suits road, gravel and mountain bikes. At 10.9 kg it is heavy enough to stay put and small enough at 475 x 316 mm to leave in place between sessions.
