It stands 1 m (3.3 ft) tall, provides 2.7 kg (6 lb) of lift, and uses an integrated over-pressure relief valve so it can be safely inflated and deployed from depth.

The DAM inflates orally or from a low-pressure hose through the No-Lock® connector, so it works with a standard LP inflation hose or with a breath at the surface or at depth.
