No. A neoprene strap cover addresses comfort and hair snagging, not mask squeeze. Mask squeeze is caused by the air space inside the mask compressing on descent, and it is prevented by exhaling gently through your nose into the mask as you go down, and by descending slowly enough to keep up with equalizing. The cover does not change how the mask seals or equalizes.

Nice quality

I prefer the slap straps that have velcro straps where it replaces your mask straps, this one slides over the mask strap, which I don't prefer, but it's a nice quality and vibrant colors
