Does the Hollis MOD-1 Scuba POD include the full face mask?

No. This listing is for the POD only; the Hollis MOD-1 Full Face Mask and the second-stage regulator are sold separately. The POD attaches to the MOD-1 mask using a hook-and-latch system so you can configure or swap pods as needed.

What regulators work with the MOD-1 Scuba POD?

The MOD-1 Scuba POD is compatible with most standard second-stage regulators, so divers can configure the POD with their existing reg for open circuit use, gas switching, buddy breathing, or setups like DECO stations and safe seconds.

How does the POD attach to and detach from the MOD-1 mask?

It uses a hook and latch system on opposing sides, allowing rapid, positive sealing and removal of the POD from the mask both above and below the water.

Can the MOD-1 Scuba POD be used for buddy breathing and gas switching?

Yes. The POD is designed to support gas switching and buddy breathing in addition to normal mask purging, and it includes a tilt-to-purge valve below the demand regulator on the outside of the POD for dewatering during a dive.
