Product Information
The TUSA Mesh Backpack (BA0103) is an 81 L mesh gear backpack for divers and snorkelers transporting gear to the beach, built from 100% nylon with mesh details, drain grommets for quick drying and a water-resistant back insert that keeps soaked gear off your back. It measures 14.2 x 16.2 x 29.5 inches (36 x 41 x 75 cm) and weighs 2.2 lb (980 g) dry.
Who it is for
This bag suits the snorkeler or recreational diver who needs one roomy bag for mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit and accessories, and who wants it on their shoulders rather than in their hands during the walk from the car to the water. The dual-sided zippered main compartment and the oversized extended main zipper make it easy to load bulky items and reach the bottom of the bag at the dock, in transit or while packing for a trip. Because the main compartment is rubber-coated mesh with drain grommets, it is equally at home holding rinsed gear after a dive as it is carrying dry kit out.

Frequently Asked Questions
How big is the TUSA BA0103 Mesh Backpack and how much does it weigh?
It holds 81 liters and measures 14.2 x 16.2 x 29.5 inches (36 x 41 x 75 cm), with a dry weight of 2.2 lb (980 g). That 29.5 inch height and the 81 L main compartment are the numbers to compare against your fins, mask and wetsuit. Four external compression straps prevent gear from shifting and improve transport stability.
Can I put wet dive gear straight into this backpack?
Yes. The main compartment is rubber-coated mesh with mesh details and drain grommets, so water drains out and the stored equipment dries quickly. A water-resistant back insert sits between the load and your back to protect you when the gear inside is still wet, which is why it works as both a haul-out bag and a post-dive bag.
What colors does the TUSA Mesh Backpack come in?
Three colors are offered: Black (BA-0103-BK), Cobalt Blue (BA-0103-CBL) and Hot Pink (BA-0103-HP). All three are the same BA0103 bag with identical 81 L capacity, 100% nylon with mesh construction, pockets and strap system, so the choice is purely cosmetic and a help for spotting your bag on a crowded boat deck.
What pockets and storage does it have besides the main compartment?
Outside there is an external zippered pocket, a mesh pocket and an elastic bungee with a barrel lock. Inside the main compartment there is an internal zippered pocket for small gear such as straps or keys. Four external compression straps keep everything from shifting while you carry the bag.
Review summary
Reviewers rate this bag highly, 4.6 out of 5 from 104 ratings on Amazon and 4.7 out of 5 from 76 ratings on Google Shopping. Written feedback is thin so far, but the people who did comment call the bag roomy and say it is big enough for what they packed. There is not much written detail yet on long term wear. It suits divers who want a roomy mesh gear backpack.
