    Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Akona Talon Titanium knife covered by a lifetime warranty?

No. AKONA's published warranty policy covers this knife, like other AKONA products bought from an Authorized AKONA Dealer, for 1 year from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship, with a 6-month term if used commercially or for rental. There is no stated lifetime warranty for this knife.

What is the actual blade length of the Akona Talon Titanium knife?

The blade measures 4.5 inches and has a medium point design. This is the manufacturer-listed blade length for part number AK950, the titanium version of the Talon knife.

What is the difference between the Akona Talon Titanium and the Akona Talon Stainless Steel knife?

The titanium version (AK950) uses a titanium blade; AKONA also publishes a separate Talon Knife - Stainless Steel Medium Tip model. Both are part of AKONA's Talon knife line and include a sheath with a pressure lock releasing mechanism and leg straps.

Does the Akona Talon Titanium knife come with a way to mount it to my leg?

Yes. It includes leg straps along with a sheath that uses a pressure lock releasing mechanism, allowing the knife to be strapped securely to a diver's leg for quick access and release.
