The Apeks Diving Backplate is available in your choice of 304 stainless steel or 6061 anodized aluminum alloy. The stainless steel option weighs 4.7 lbs (2.15 kg), while the aluminum option weighs just 1.7 lbs (780g), making it a lightweight and durable choice for your diving adventures.
Designed with functionality in mind, this backplate features 4 upper and lower slots that accommodate nylon cylinder bands, allowing you to securely strap a single cylinder directly to the plate. The 4-slot design provides superior lateral stability for your cylinder, something that traditional 2-slot plates cannot offer.
With 3 holes at the top of the plate for height adjustments, as well as a lower centre slot for misaligned band bolts, this backplate offers versatility and customization options to suit your needs. The 2” wide crotch strap slot ensures a comfortable and secure fit, while upper and lower perimeter holes and holes along the bottom allow for the easy mounting of accessories.Both the stainless steel and aluminum options feature an electro-plated finish and a laser-etched Apeks logo, adding a touch of style to your diving gear.
