Product Information

The Index Sleep Monitor is worn on the upper arm rather than the wrist, which is the point of it: a soft nylon and spandex band is less intrusive to sleep in than a watch, and an upper-arm position produces steadier overnight readings than a wrist that moves under a pillow.

It records sleep stages, heart rate, heart rate variability, pulse ox and respiration, and feeds them into Garmin Connect alongside your training data — so recovery, sleep score and body battery reflect a night measured properly rather than inferred.

The band is 70% nylon and 30% spandex, breathable and stretchy, and the module weighs 14.5 g. Battery runs about seven nights with pulse ox enabled on typical eight-hour nights, and the unit carries a 5 ATM water rating. Choose S/M or L/XL to match your upper arm.
