Product Information

This Aqualung Regulator Package pairs a first and second stage set with a dedicated octopus, so you leave with a complete breathing setup instead of shopping for the pieces separately. Pick your primary regulator from the Aqualung Titan, Helix Pro, or Helix Compact Pro, and it comes standard with the Calypso/Titan Octopus as your alternate air source. The Titan is a balanced-diaphragm design with a sealed first stage that keeps water and silt out of the internal mechanism, and it carries four medium-pressure and two high-pressure ports laid out in a T shape for clean hose routing. Its second stage is pneumatically balanced with a venturi lever to tame free-flow at the surface, and the Comfo-Bite mouthpiece uses a bridged design that stays put without constant clenching.

The Calypso/Titan Octopus is a downstream second stage built to hand off air in an emergency. It uses the same simple, durable valve design found in rental and training fleets, which keeps it easy to service. A high-visibility yellow hose and yellow front cover make it quick to spot and grab, and an in-line venturi knob lets you dial in performance even with gloves on, cutting surface free-flow while adding a boost at depth. Like the primary regulator, it uses a Comfo-Bite mouthpiece and a purge button sized for gloved use.

Because both second stages share the same mouthpiece design and downstream valve architecture, and the Titan first stage has the port capacity to run an octopus alongside your other regulator hoses, the two pieces work as a matched set rather than a mismatched pairing. Whether you choose the Titan, Helix Pro, or Helix Compact Pro as your primary, the Calypso/Titan Octopus rounds it out as a straightforward, easy-to-service backup.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Aqualung Titan regulator like?

The Titan is a balanced-diaphragm first stage paired with an unbalanced downstream second stage. The sealed first stage keeps water and contaminants out, supporting use in cold and silty conditions with reduced service wear, and it has a long service history in rental fleets and personal kits. It uses a lightweight forged brass body, a Comfo-Bite mouthpiece, and a venturi lever to control free-flow at the surface. We don't have independent review scores to share beyond these manufacturer specs and features.

What are the specs on the Titan's first stage?

The Titan first stage is a balanced-diaphragm, T-shaped, wet-chamber design with a marine brass body that's bright chrome plated, a sintered bronze conical filter, and EPDM O-rings. It has 2 high-pressure ports (7/16in UNF) and 4 medium-pressure ports (3/8in UNF), a max working pressure of 300 bar DIN or 232 bar yoke, and an intermediate pressure of 9.5 bar plus or minus 0.5 bar.

What's the difference between the Titan and the Calypso/Titan octopus in this package?

The Titan is the primary first-and-second-stage regulator you breathe from. The Calypso Titan is a separate second-stage-only octopus that serves as your backup air source, sharing the same downstream valve design as the Titan's second stage. It comes with a high-visibility yellow cover and hose so a buddy can spot and grab it easily in an emergency.

How durable or reliable is the Titan regulator?

We can't give a blanket brand rating, but the Titan design has a long service history in rental fleets and personal dive kits, which reflects how it holds up under repeated heavy use. Its sealed first stage is built to handle cold and silty conditions while reducing service wear.

What's included in this bundle?

This package includes one Aqualung TITAN Dive Regulator (a first and second stage set) and one Aqualung Calypso Titan Octopus (a second-stage alternate air source).
