Important: This item is a Hollis CRIB component and is not a complete BCD. It is designed to be used as part of a backplate and harness system and must be paired with other compatible components to form a full buoyancy compensator setup.
The Hollis CRIB Custom LX2 Weight System is an integrated quick-release weight pocket solution designed for use with single tank cam band configurations. Based on the proven Hollis LX2 design, this system allows divers to add removable ballast directly to the tank bands of a backplate or soft BCD setup without altering trim or increasing bulk around the waist. Each pocket mounts securely to standard 2-inch cam bands, positioning weight close to the cylinder for improved balance and streamlined profile in the water.
This weight system is part of the Hollis CRIB (Custom Rig Integrated Buoyancy) component platform, allowing divers to configure personalized setups with functional components and custom color options. The LX2 pockets are built from durable, abrasion-resistant materials and include a reliable quick-release handle for controlled weight ditching when required. The design keeps the weight system stable during movement while remaining easy to install or remove from existing cam bands.
The modular placement on upper or lower cam bands gives divers flexibility in fine-tuning trim for different exposure suits, cylinder types, and diving environments. Its compatibility with standard cam bands and backplate systems makes it suitable for a wide range of single tank diving configurations used in recreational and technical diving.
