Product Information
The Suunto MC-2 is the professional's mirror compass — the one guides, surveyors, and mountain travelers reach for when a bearing has to be right. The hinged mirror lets you sight a distant landmark through the hole and notch while reading the capsule at the same time (and doubles as an emergency signal mirror), the clinometer measures slope angle for avalanche terrain assessment, and adjustable declination correction means every bearing you read is already true.
Luminescent markings keep it workable in low light, the baseplate carries UTM scales, an inch ruler, and a magnifier, and the snap-lock lanyard detaches with a click for map work. Global versions use Suunto's globally balanced needle with a 20° tilt margin that works on every continent; NH versions are balanced for the northern hemisphere. Scale options include standard 360°, USGS map scales, and a 6400-mil military graduation. Made in Finland, limited lifetime warranty.
