The Rover 2S is built on Mares' compact 2S piston first stage, finished with a sandblasted coating that resists scratches through repeated use, and its Rover second stage uses Mares' Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) with the Fluid Dynamic Deflector (FDD) to keep breathing natural at all depths. The large purge button uses a dynamic hinge that activates with a single finger, and the rubber hose and second stage components are tested beyond 113,000 venting cycles, so this is a regulator built to hold up to frequent use.

The Dual Octo rides alongside as your backup second stage, built from ultralight technopolymer that keeps the whole unit down to 183 g. It shares the same Vortex Assisted Design as the primary, using an air bypass tube to create a low-pressure vortex at the mouthpiece for easy breathing, and its Superflex hose stays soft and flexible so it does not add bulk to your rig.
