Important: This item is a Hollis CRIB component and is not a complete BCD. It is designed to be used as part of a backplate and harness system and must be paired with other compatible components to form a full buoyancy compensator setup.
The Hollis CRIB Custom Shoulder Pad (Elite style) is a padded harness accessory designed to increase comfort in backplate and harness configurations while maintaining a streamlined profile. Based on the Hollis Elite harness pad design, this shoulder pad adds structured cushioning along standard 2-inch webbing to reduce pressure points created by tank weight and equipment load. Its contoured shape supports the shoulders without adding bulk that could interfere with trim or equipment placement.
This shoulder pad is part of the Hollis CRIB (Custom Rig Integrated Buoyancy) component system, allowing divers to configure personalized backplate setups with functional comfort upgrades and custom color options. The Elite style incorporates durable outer materials with internal padding that resists water absorption and retains its shape over repeated dives. Integrated routing keeps the pad aligned with the harness webbing during donning, doffing, and in-water movement.
Designed for compatibility with continuous webbing harness systems, the pad installs by sliding onto the webbing without requiring harness modification. The design allows unobstructed placement of D-rings, chest straps, and accessories, making it suitable for both single tank and double tank backplate systems used in recreational and technical diving.
