Important: This item is a Hollis CRIB component and is not a complete BCD. It is designed to be used as part of a backplate and harness system and must be paired with other compatible components to form a full buoyancy compensator setup.
The Hollis CRIB Custom Elite 2 Harness is a padded backplate harness designed to provide increased comfort while maintaining the modularity and performance of a traditional backplate system. Based on the Hollis Elite 2 harness platform, this design combines durable webbing with integrated shoulder and back padding to reduce pressure points created by tank weight and extended dive durations. The harness maintains a streamlined profile while offering easier donning and doffing compared to continuous webbing systems.
This harness is part of the Hollis CRIB (Custom Rig Integrated Buoyancy) component system, allowing divers to build personalized backplate configurations with functional comfort upgrades and custom color options. The Elite 2 Harness features reinforced 2-inch webbing routed through the backplate with padded sections positioned along the shoulders and back for load distribution. Stainless steel hardware, including D-rings and triglides, provides reliable attachment points for accessories in both recreational and technical diving setups.
An adjustable sternum strap and waist buckle improve fit security while keeping the harness aligned during movement. The design supports precise placement of accessories such as SPGs, lights, and stage cylinders without interfering with trim. Its compatibility with standard stainless steel and aluminum backplates makes it suitable for single tank and double tank backplate systems.
