Aqualung Regulator Package – LEG3ND Regulator + LEG3ND Octopus

This package pairs a primary regulator with the Aqualung LEG3ND Octopus as your backup second stage. You can choose your primary from three options: the Aqualung LEG3ND, the LEG3ND MBS, or the Helix Compact Pro. The LEG3ND regulator is built around an over-balanced diaphragm first stage, which raises intermediate pressure faster than ambient pressure rises as you descend, so the second stage keeps delivering full flow at depth instead of tapering off. The first stage is fully sealed to keep water and contaminants out, and the Auto Closure Device shuts the inlet whenever the regulator is off the cylinder, protecting the internal parts and lubrication between dives.

The LEG3ND Octopus is built as the matched alternate air source, sharing the same second-stage architecture as the primary regulator. That matters in an out-of-air situation: whoever takes your octopus gets breathing characteristics they're already used to, not a downgrade. The octopus is fitted with a high-visibility yellow hose and front cover so it's easy to spot and hand off quickly, and its venturi lever holds back freeflow at the surface while still boosting performance once you're at depth.

Both second stages use the Comfo-Bite mouthpiece, which stays seated without constant jaw clenching, and both carry Aqualung's pneumatically balanced design with venturi control. The LEG3ND regulator's second stage also adds an adjustable inhalation knob for fine-tuning breathing resistance to your preference. Together, the two pieces give you a primary and backup that behave the same way underwater, which is the point of carrying an octopus in the first place.
