The Mares Dual Octo Regulator is designed for scuba and diving gear use, featuring an ultralight technopolymer construction that reduces weight and helps streamline performance underwater. Weighing only 183 g, it minimizes added bulk while delivering reliable airflow through a pneumatic-assisted design (P.A.D.). A Superflex hose further enhances handling and comfort during extended dives in warm to moderate water conditions.
The VAD – VORTEX ASSISTED DESIGN uses an air bypass tube to deliver air to the mouthpiece, creating a swirling vortex with a low-pressure center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths. This design supports smooth breathing across a range of diving scenarios, contributing to steady performance in scuba environments.
