The environmentally sealed design isolates internal components from water and contaminants, making this configuration well-suited for cold water, silty entries, and demanding dive environments. Stable intermediate pressure delivery supports smooth inhalation regardless of depth or remaining cylinder pressure.
The MK17 EVO2 first stage is built from chrome-plated marine brass and uses a dry environmental chamber to enhance freeze resistance and long-term reliability. Its compact body and fixed port layout allow streamlined hose routing while maintaining high airflow. The S620Ti second stage incorporates a titanium inlet tube, reinforced technopolymer housing, and an air-balanced valve to reduce breathing effort and minimize jaw fatigue during extended dives. The included R105 Octopus provides a visible, dependable alternate air source using a classic downstream valve design for straightforward operation.
