My other BCD's are both jacket-type, which while great for the beginner isn't ideal for photography, so I opted for the Pro 2 to simplify trim with its back inflation design.
Living in the desert SW, for me every dive begins with a trip and the bare bone design of the Pro 2 which flattens down into a nice tight bundle that can be packed in the included backpack-styled storage/travel bag or in my checked baggage.
I opted for the Air2 to reduce drag, but having the Octopus combined with the low-pressure inflator, makes more to think about in the event of equipment failure.
Overall, I think this is going to be a nice upgrade for tropical dive trips.
